Set in suburban Melbourne, Take Away follows rival fish and chip shop owners Tony and Trev, who are forced to put aside their long-running feud when the giant fast-food chain Burgies opens across the road. What follows is a classic Australian comedy packed with local flavour, quirky characters and plenty of laughs.

Starring Vince Colosimo, Stephen Curry, Rose Byrne, John Howard and Nathan Phillips, Take Away remains a beloved snapshot of Australian suburban life.

Following the screening, Dave and Mark will share stories from the making of the film and answer your questions. Ask them about writing the screenplay, their favourite takeaway order, or what it was like filming in Alphington.
