Bendigo Cinemas opens 30 minutes before our first film of the day. Session times can be found at Session Times

We have allocated seat numbers in Gold Class, Cinema 1 & Cinema 2. For all other cinemas your ticket ensures you will have a seat in the cinema but seating is allocated on a “first-in, best dressed” basis. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before start time so you can select your favourite seat.

Absolutely! Bendigo Cinemas offers Adult, Student, Child & Senior Gift Vouchers and can be purchased online, in person or over the phone using your credit card.

Group Bookings are a great way for you to organise a group of 40+ to see a film at a fantastic discounted rate. We do advise that large groups still need to arrive early if sitting together is important. If your group has less than 40 people, we suggest purchasing one of our Movie $ Books to receive a discounted rate.

Yes! We can help you raise money for your club or charity all whilst enjoying a night out the cinema. As long as you commit to a minimum of 40 tickets, there is no risk to you as you only pay for the tickets that you sell. Bendigo Cinemas staff will assist you with not only the movie selection but we will even produce high quality tickets for your event. We can even offer great prizes to use towards a raffle or lucky door prize on the night. The distributor of a film will stipulate NO FREE TICKETS on selected films for a set duration. This restriction will not apply to the entire season of a film - usually only weeks 1 and 2 (except 3D films). If a voucher or pass is not valid for NO FREE TICKET movies it will be stated in the terms and conditions on the pass. Check our programme for the NO FREE TICKETS schedule to ensure you will not be disappointed.

Dolby technologies put you in the center of your movie-going experience. You will hear five full-range discreet channels, plus a subwoofer channel that covers the bottom one-tenth of the audible range - these are the technologies that create the experience. The dynamic range (the ratio of the loudest sounds to the softest) is significant and the full-range surround channels make lifelike special effects possible-think helicopters flying overhead. And the subwoofer sound can often be felt as well as heard.

The length of time any film will play at Bendigo Cinemas is based on the amount of business the film generates, contractual obligations and time of the year. Basically, the more popular a film is with patrons, the longer it will play. There is no way to predict exactly how long a movie will play. Use our website to get information on what films will be playing up to five days in advance.

Our programming is coordinated by Village Cinemas. It is their policy to ensure we offer a wide range of films covering most audiences and genres. With programming however we are governed by the official release dates of the Distributors films and the availability of prints throughout Australia.

Showcase films have limited circulation throughout Australia as apposed to Blockbuster films. Therefore when programming, Village Cinemas are governed by what prints are available, contractual obligations and the time of year. The length of time any Showcase film will play at Bendigo Cinemas is based on the amount of business the film generates.

* We reserve the right to check bags or refuse admission to any patron. *School backpacks, prams and other large items cannot be taken into the cinemas. *Hot food, cans and glass bottles cannot be taken into the cinemas. *No feet on seats. *Mobile phones must be turned off past podium. *Laser Lights, Cameras and Recording Equipment cannot be taken into the cinemas. *A reasonable standard of dress applies. A shirt and footwear must be worn at all times. *No BYO alcohol is allowed on the premises. *Persons affected by alcohol or non prescription drugs may be refused admission. *Young children must be supervised at all times. *A valid cinema ticket must be retained throughout the movie & produced upon request *Photo I.D must be presented on request for MA15+ and R18+ movies. *Surveillance cameras are used throughout this complex.

Absolutely! Cinema advertising at Bendigo cinemas is one of the most cost effective forms of advertising. Bendigo Cinemas do not allow prams into our theatres for the safety of our patrons in the event of an emergency evacuation. We can store prams securely for the duration of the movie.

Online Bookings

Yes, Companion Card holders can book carer tickets online through their Vrewards account. Please complete this form and email to Village Cinemas - . Applicants will be contacted within ten business days of receiving a completed application form to confirm that their application is successful. Until the account is approved and set up, bookings can be made at the ticket box upon presentation of a valid Companion Card.

Yes you sure can! Just click on the session time you wish you attend on our home page and it will redirect you to our bookings portal. Booking fees apply.

If you have your ticket confirmation email containing the QR code, you can skip the queue and go straight to the cinema.

If the session time has not passed, take your credit card to the ticket box before your movie and ask to speak to the manager on duty who will be able to arrange a refund. Alternatively, email with the name the booking was made under, movie title, session time and your best contact phone number.

If you saw a confirmation page containing your booking details after your ticket purchased was processed, you can still collect your tickets from the ticket box. For security reasons, the credit card holder will need to present the card used for the booking. Real D 3D

You get cool glasses and a unique movie experience! 3D works by presenting viewers with a slightly separated set of images for the left and the right eye in such quick succession that our brain perceives the images as appearing at the same time and having a field of depth. The glasses ensure that the right eye only see the images intended for right eye and the same for the left eye.

You will be able to use your Bendigo Cinemas, Village or Greater Union gift vouchers, screen savers or movie dollar vouchers for 3D movies but a $3 surcharge applies.

Our 3D glasses are designed to fit easily and comfortably on any guests that are over 3 years old. We do not recommend children under 3 attend digital 3D films for this reason as they will not be able to experience the full impact of digital 3D without the glasses.

Of course! Our 3D glasses are designed to fit comfortably over prescription glasses.

Bendigo Cinemas will screen a 2D version of all 3D movies depending on availability.

Gold Class

Gold Class Cinemas are superbly designed to provide a luxuriously intimate setting and are committed to providing customers with a first class quality experience of film, food, beverages and service. Each Gold Class Cinema features: Luxury seats, State of the art cinema technology, Bar, Lounge, Gourmet food & Personal waiter service.

Your Gold Class ticket includes entry into our Luxury Gold Class cinema & access to our Gold Class lounge & in cinema waiting service. Food & Beverages can be purchased at the menu listed price.

We recommend that you arrive half an hour prior to your film to allow us to provide the best possible experience.

Food & Beverages can be purchased from our Gold Class or Traditional Menu to be delivered at stages throughout the film.

Please note that due to liquor license restrictions, we are unable to serve alcohol in G or PG rated films where such a film could be reasonably classified as a children's film targeted to a children's audience. 

Yes we have both Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards available for Gold Class. These can be purchased in cinema or from our Online Gift Shop
