BENDIGO CINEMAS SET FOR MAJOR UPGRADE

Bendigo Cinemas is set to undergo a $6 million upgrade, thanks to Village Cinemas and its Joint Venture Partner.

The Bendigo Cinemas refurbishment will see the introduction of a brand new candy bar complex, new seating in theatres, and a number of other enhancements providing moviegoers with a world-class cinema experience for years to come.

These changes will add to the already state-of-the-art cinema experience offered at Bendigo Cinemas, including Dolby Surround Sound, first-class projection and stadium seating.

The redevelopment will begin soon, with works to be completed in stages and after hours to ensure the cinema complex remains open throughout the upgrade. Work on the upgrade is set to be complete by the end of the year.

For almost 40 years, Bendigo Cinemas has been bringing the magic of movies to locals.

Bendigo Cinemas first opened its doors in 1975 as The Golden Twin, screening the box office hit Jaws. The seven-screen cinema was renamed Bendigo Cinemas in 1997 and continues to showcase the latest release blockbuster films.
